HACKENSACK, NJ – March 21, 2012 - Vidyo, Inc., demonstrated today telepresence grade, low-latency, multipoint videoconferencia with 3 mega pixel content sharing on Apple’s new iPad. The demonstration over a 4G LTE network connection expands access to high definition videoconferencing, showing participants joining a conference from a variety of endpoints. This is the latest in a succession of Vidyo industry firsts, which includes being the first company to demonstrate HD quality, low-latency video conferencing on the iPad 2 and on the iPhone 4S over every day mobile, work and home networks. The new iPad’s 3MP Retina display leverages VidyoMobile’s data sharing feature, offering greater detail in content collaboration for vertical market applications like sanidad, government, education and manufacturing.  Several Vidyo customers already use content sharing to enhance collaboration, for example, schools conduct virtual learning sessions using iPads, geographically dispersed manufacturing organizations enhance productivity by collaborating globally, and construction companies sharing blue prints to expedite decision making on remote projects without requiring expensive travel.
