This feature makes Mediasite one of the most user-friendly video recording platforms for education and enterprise training.

Archive Your Videos Automatically

Managing video libraries can be overwhelming—but not anymore. Administrators can now set automatic retention rules to archive videos based on content creation date, last-watched date, or both.

This feature helps you:

1. Stay compliant with institutional and industry standards
2. Optimize storage and reduce clutter
3. Simplify content lifecycle management

Available as an add-on to Mediasite. If you already have a Mediasite Archive subscription, you can transition immediately.

Custom Branding for Your Video

Your content should reflect your brand. With our new video player customization options, you can:

1. Adjust player control colors (play button, progress bar, quiz elements)
2. Ensure accessibility compliance with built-in contrast checks

Recorder Express Update: Run as a Local User 

We’ve made Recorder Express more flexible and accessible. Soon, presenters won’t need Admin privileges on podium PCs to record sessions. Anyone with a local user account will be able to launch and capture videos with ease.
