A Fresh Start for the New Year: What’s New in Mediasite

A new year always brings a sense of momentum. It is a chance to refine what works, fix what does not, and build toward what is next. Behind the scenes, the Mediasite team has been doing exactly that. Over the past few months, we have shipped meaningful improvements, strengthened platform performance, and focused on what matters most as accessibility expectations continue to evolve globally.

Here is a look at what is new and what is on the horizon.

Multi Language Support for Live Captions

Reaching multilingual audiences during live events just became much more seamless.

Mediasite now supports live broadcasts with up to two caption languages at the same time when using a supported third party captioning service. That means organizations can serve international audiences in real time without creating separate streams or waiting for captions to be processed after the event.

For global town halls, university lectures, healthcare training sessions, or corporate broadcasts, this capability makes it easier to deliver inclusive live experiences that reflect the audiences you serve.

AI Powered Title Generation

Titles matter more than most teams realize. They shape discoverability, improve search results, and help viewers quickly understand what a presentation offers.

With AI powered title generation, Mediasite can now suggest presentation titles automatically based on your content. Instead of spending time trying to craft the perfect headline, publishers can generate clear, meaningful options instantly.

The result is faster publishing, more consistent naming across your library, and improved searchability for viewers. If you already have access to AI summarization, you can begin using this feature right away.

Platform Improvements That Make a Difference

Continuous improvement is not glamorous, but it is essential.

A recent focused bug bash across the Mediasite platform resulted in more than 25 resolved issues. These fixes addressed usability enhancements, stability improvements, and edge case behaviors that impact everyday workflows.

The outcome is simple. A smoother, more reliable experience for administrators and end users alike.

Customer feedback played a direct role in identifying and validating these improvements, reinforcing the collaborative approach that continues to shape the platform.

Moving Beyond Compliance: A New Accessibility Dashboard

Mediasite is fully compliant with ADA Title II and the European Accessibility Act. But the conversation around accessibility is changing.

It is no longer just about whether a platform meets requirements. It is about whether the content within it does.

To support this shift, Mediasite is developing a new Accessibility Dashboard designed specifically for administrators who need greater visibility and control.

This new experience will provide a clear view of accessibility readiness across your entire video library. It will help identify presentations that require attention and make it easier to take action to meet evolving standards.

Instead of reacting to compliance deadlines, organizations will be able to manage accessibility proactively and strategically.

Looking Ahead

The year ahead will continue to bring new expectations around accessibility, discoverability, and global reach. From multilingual live captions to AI assisted workflows and a stronger platform foundation, Mediasite is focused on helping organizations deliver video experiences that are scalable, inclusive, and future ready.

There is more to come, and we are just getting started.
